Avalon Family Entertainment creates feature films that are safe for children to watch, but entertaining for the whole family to watch. After all, a family film doesn’t necessarily have to be a children’s film and that has been proven with recent box office figures as evidence. Family films make more, on average, than mature and adult content films yet there is a disproportionately larger number of adult films made.
R Rated films typically only make a small fraction of the gross profits compared to G rated films. This is largely because R Rated films are not only watched by children but enjoyed and definitely appreciated by families and young adults. In contrast, the number of people able to watch an R Rated film is grossly reduced.
While more family films are being created, there is a gap in the market and it is a gap that Avalon is positioned to fill well. The Avalon team is experienced in creating family blockbusters that have amassed huge viewing figures at the theater and at home and intend to continue this trend by releasing modern versions of old fairy tales and myths that are well known and available in the public domain.
